A Trauma-Informed Approach to Healing
Alyssa Marrero MSW, LCSW
Founder of The Crisis Collective
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of The Crisis Collective, PLLC, where I provide counseling for adults, teens, and families navigating life after crisis, trauma, or major change.
My therapeutic approach is person-centered, grounded in compassion, and guided by the belief that each person already has the strength and wisdom needed to heal. I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Strengths-Based practices to help clients reconnect with their values, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change.
In our work together, I focus on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can process difficult experiences, explore what matters most to you, and develop practical tools to navigate life’s challenges.
My background includes over a decade of experience in crisis response, trauma recovery, and community mental health — supporting individuals, veterans, first responders, and survivors of violence. This experience shapes my approach: trauma-informed, deeply human, and rooted in respect for each person’s unique journey.
