Working with clients experiencing suicidal thoughts, self-harm, or other mental health crises can feel overwhelming, even for experienced clinicians. This 90-minute training is designed to help therapists, counselors, social workers, and other helping professionals feel more confident navigating suicide risk assessment, safety planning, documentation, and clinical decision-making.
Participants will learn practical strategies for identifying risk, distinguishing between acute and chronic suicidal ideation, determining appropriate levels of care, and creating collaborative safety plans.
